Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography is a procedure to treat biliary and pancreatic disease. Unlike like upper gi endoscopy , ercp is generally a therapeutic procedure. This procedure helps to remove blockage of biliary tract, remove stone , prevent leakage of bile from biliary tract.
